The company was set up in 1996 to address data quality issues in local government Crime & Disorder Reduction partnerships. Our technology has become the system of choice for Local Authorities for supporting the extraction, cleaning, geocoding and validation of all data (e.g. crime, disorder, fire, accident and emergency, traffic accidents, social housing, council tax, revs and bens, land charges, planning, social services, health, education etc). Infoshare’s technology is currently being trialled by US Police in four different states. Our software and solutions have become the data quality standard adopted by the National Probation Service, is recommended by the Home Office, and is listed in the Good Practice Section of ‘Reinforcing Success’ in the HM Inspectorate of Constabulary report ‘Calling Time on Crime’.
