OmniData provides the facility to clean locations data from any data source against a gazetteer – such as NLPG or ADDRESS-POINT and to add map co-ordinates to each record in the file for subsequent analysis. One of the main strengths of OmniData is its ability to clean and match data from many different sources to the same standard. This makes it ideal as a data sharing tool for multi agency partnerships pooling information to target resources. The Reference Database that OmniData uses can be created from any good quality source including ADDRESS-POINT or a BS7666 compliant database. There is full scope to add non-addressables to the database that are not present in the source data used to build the Reference Database. Data outputs can be automatically sanitised for total compliance with DPA legislation.
