Infoshare’s approach to data quality differs notably from our competitors. Specifically, we validate, clean and enrich the data ahead of any matching taking place. Validation, cleaning and enrichment could typically be against the NLPG; Ordnance Survey; Experian datasets etc. Secondly, we match against evidence existing within the datasets; rather than by mathematical probability. This is crucial for our clients where data is mission critical and to avoid common pitfalls of over matching and under matching. Our matching process has been developed with analysts who would not rely on probability based matching but need factual data matching with the ability to see why a match was made.
